About the role

The IT Project Manager would play a pivotal part in our team and works with our clients and Dev Team on driving projects to successful outcomes. The role is responsible for managing the delivery and success of the Dev team working on our Property Management System (PMS) - Hotelizer.

Indicative Responsibilities :

  • Supervise members of the Development team and collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize project outcomes
  • Develop comprehensive plans for all IT projects, incorporating budget details, timelines, and resource requirements
  • Streamline the coordination of the Dev team's efforts to ensure the successful and timely delivery of projects
  • Clearly define project success criteria and communicate them to all stakeholders, actively steering projects toward desired outcomes
  • Provide leadership with regular status reports on project milestones, objectives, dependencies, and promptly address any arising risks or issues
  • Monitor and report project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and deliverables, taking proactive measures to address deviations from projections
  • Ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards for all programs under supervision
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for project issues, actively participating in issue resolution processes
  • Promote and enforce best implementation practices, templates, policies, and tools to enhance project delivery success
  • Utilise appropriate tools to track and manage project deliverables, maintaining accuracy and visibility across the organization
  • Conduct and lead various meetings involving stakeholders, including kickoff, weekly status, escalation, and top management committee sessions
  • Fulfil additional project duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and organization

Requirements

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Business Management or related field would be a plus
  • Prior experience working with Property Management Systems (PMS) in the travel industry would be considered a plus
  • 6+ years of experience of software/SAAS project management 
  • More than 5 years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM/project management software
  • Strong organizational skills and customer-oriented approach
  • Project Management certification would be a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and problem-solving skills
  • Sharp business acumen
  • Proven ability to work in a startup environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective
  • Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities
